As more details surrounding Connor's past emerge, Michelle uncovers the full magnitude of the loss he's trying to hide. Refusing to let her feelings for him hinder his recovery, she makes a decision that winds up hurting them both.

By sacrificing her heart, Michelle thinks she is helping Connor come to terms with his grief. Little does she know, Connor is gambling everything for the sake of having a future with her.

What happens is truly unexpected

I loved this! It had enough emotion and drama to keep me hooked, without been too heavy. We follow the story primarly of Michelle and the effect of 9/11 on her, bring in a beautiful bar owner who faces his own issues and what do we have? A whole lot of well written tension. I have previously read Faiths books, and i did enjoy them, but this is the best of the bunch(So far!) I would really recommend this is as a summer read, something to shift emotions but keep you page turning till the end.

Rating; 8/10
