Come Undone (Rock Hard #1) by Madelynne Ellis (*)

On stage he’s dynamite. Off stage he rocks her world.

When red-hot, Goth-metal band, Black Halo, split live on stage, fate throws Daniella Fosbrook into the path of sexy vocalist Xane Geist. Initially, Xane’s only looking for a ride home, but Dani tempts him in a way a thousand other women haven’t. Determined to explore their heady chemistry and avoid hashing things out with the band, Xane whisks Dani off to Monaco for a steamy weekend.

There, Dani tries her best to hang onto her heart and some clothing, while Xane soon loses both. However, Xane isn’t being entirely honest about the reason for the band’s demise. When the truth comes out, can Dani accept the facts, or will everything come undone

I love me a good old fashioned rock star romance, so when i rememberd this was sitting quietly on my tbr, i decided to give it a go. This is a book one in the Rock Hard series, and i was not dissapointed. We initally meet Dani & Ginny, Ginny is desperate to get back stage to meet the sexy rockers, Dani not so much, instead she wonders off to find the arena and instead bumps into heaven himself, Xane Giest. What follows is a tale of falling hard and fast, plenty of sex, and a beautiful connection between an oddly suited couple.
"For the first time in her life, she understood what it meant to melt, to feel so drawn to another human being that she lost control of even the most basic functions"
Im always weary when a book like this tries to give a serious twist but Madelynne does it wonderfully, that it works. That this couple, is a couple not just a quick backstage and greet shall we say, that the issues they face are honest and possibly real to life. What we see is two well developed characters with their own personailities, learn how to fall for each other in an honest way. I am desperate to find out where Xane & Danis romance goes from here, because that is a book i would happily read.

This book earnt itself a steaming mug of Assam
