Gabriel's Redemption (Gabriel's Inferno #3) by Sylvain Reynard (*)

Professor Gabriel Emerson has left his position at the University of Toronto to embark on a new life with his beloved Julianne. Together, he’s confident that they can face any challenge. And he’s eager to become a father.

But Julianne’s graduate program threatens Gabriel’s plans, as the pressures of being a student become all consuming. When she is given the honor of presenting an academic lecture at Oxford, Gabriel is forced to confront her about the subject of her presentation – research that conflicts with his own. And in Oxford, several individuals from their past appear, including an old nemesis intent on humiliating Julia and exposing one of Gabriel’s darkest secrets.

In an effort to confront his remaining demons, Gabriel begins a quest to discover more about his biological parents, beginning a chain of events that has startling repercussions for himself, Julianne, and his hope of having a family.

Review
*squeeeee* the excitement i felt when this dropped into my email inbox, oh my, Emerson is my 3rd book boyfriend and one of my true loves, first we had Chrisitan Grey, then Gideon Cross, then followed Gabriel Emerson and ive been smitten since, this is the long awaited #3 in the series and worth the wait it was! We follow on from the story leaving off and it didnt take me long to recall all the events of the previous books. We see the life the couple are now undertaking, with Julia focusing on her PHD and trying to prove her own academia without people presuming Gabriel is helping, throw in some past enemies and the story livens up.
♥"Gabriel was a consuming fire. His passion, his desires, all seemed to overtake the desires of those around him"
Gabriel,as ever is all consuming in his passion and love for his wife, whilst Julia tries to understand just how strong his emotions are, and tries to not succumb to everything he says, but lets be fair, im pretty sure we all would. This was a grand book, all the intense passion that we saw through one and two is ever present in three and all tied up neatly in a nice package that left me as the reader very happy indeed, we see conflict from past characters, enough to impact the story, not enough to ruin it. I cannot fault this flawless novel. I was hooked, im sad Gabriel has now left my life, oh i loved you so.
