♥ Bang - E.K Blair || Tea Time Review ♥

They say when you take revenge against another you lose a part of your innocence.
But I’m not innocent.
I haven’t been for a very long time.
My innocence was stolen from me. Taken was the life I was supposed to have. The soul I was born with. The ruby heart embedded in a life full of hopes and dreams.

Gone.
Vanished.

I never even had a choice.
I mourn that life. Mourn the what-ifs.
Until now.
I’m ready to take back what was always meant to be mine.

But every plan has a fatal flaw. Sometimes it’s the heart.

**Due to the dark and explicit nature of this book, it is recommended for mature audiences only as some scenes may be particularly disturbing.**

 Review
I have sat on this review for a while, and im still not really sure how i feel - i just dont know, but ill try. We meet Elizabeth in the past, and Nina in the present, we learn about the horrific tragedys that Elizabeth has faced when her father was arrested and she was put in to care. We learn about Nina and her huge distaste for her husband, like a full on hate.

We also meet numerous other characters, the two most relevant - Pike and Declan. Two complete opposite characters, and two hugely relevant ones to the plot. This is a story of revenge and anger, its about hate and getting even. At no point was there any inkling that there would be a happy ending, but i was holding out for one non the less, what a mistake.

 The story was powerful, moving, dark and certainly adult. Its hard to review without giving out major plot points, points that i think need to be discovered by the reader, i rated this 3/5 because i cant figure out how i feel - i loved it, i didnt like it- im confused but at the end of the day. It was a good read.

Rating
3/5
