The quiet town of Hartwell is the perfect place to get away from it all - and find what you never knew you needed . . .
Bailey Hartwell has many reasons to feel content - her successful business, a close circle of friends and her steady boyfriend . . . even if their romance feels staid after ten years without a serious commitment. The only challenge in her life comes in the form of sexy businessman Vaughn Tremaine. She thinks the ex-New Yorker acts superior and that he considers her a small-town nobody. But when Bailey's blindsided by a betrayal, she's shocked to discover Vaughn is actually a decent guy.
Vaughn admires Bailey's free spirit, independence and loyalty. As his passion for her has grown, his antagonism toward her has only worsened. Every little thing Bailey does seduces him. But when Vaughn's painful emotional past makes him walk away in fear he will hurt her, it opens an old wound in Bailey, and she uncharacteristically retreats.
Once Vaughn begins to realise he's made the biggest mistake of his life, he has no choice but to fight like he's never fought before to convince Bailey that the love they've found together only comes around once in a lifetime . . .

Review
It has been so long since i read any Samantha Young, I think I read a couple of the On Dublin Street, loved them and then moved on. When it was announced that Hart's Boardwalk was been released, again I was super excited but still didn't read them (what is that all about?!) It was about time i changed that as i work threw my ever growing TBR.
Bailey is the princess of the boardwalk, its hers - her family are like the royalty of the town, and her loyalty and free spirit makes those around her adore her - even Vaughn Tremaine- renowned bachelor and blue blood. Bailey is going through a rough patch with her boyfriend, and when she heads out to surprise him and is greeted with a huge betrayal she flips her lid ( I don't blame her ) Trying to move on and refocus her life when she feels like she has wasted so many years is proving harder than Bailey thought, especially when she keeps fighting with Vaugh.
Vaugh has admired Bailey from a distance for so long, but knows he isn't capable of what she would want, and besides every time they meet - they fight. However, one night brings them together but it also drives them further apart than they have ever been. When realisation hits, Vaughn is going to have to fight harder than ever before to prove to Bailey she can trust him.
Every Little Thing is a smokin' hot novel with all the seaside community feels i love, but more a sizzle and spark than the usual chick lit i opt for. The residents of Hartwell are all a mixed bunch and i cannot wait to spend more time learning their stories. However, there is a few you might want to avoid should you bump into them.
With a community backing Bailey, and Vaughn been an outsider who simply isn't involved - it's not hard to see whose side they will pick, but can he prove them wrong? Is their more to Vaughn Termaine than meets the eye ( I mean, that site is fantastic enough!) Samantha has once again created a sizzling summer read.
