One With you || Sylvia Day(*) || Review

Gideon Cross. Falling in love with him was the easiest thing I've ever done. It happened instantly. Completely. Irrevocably. Marrying him was a dream come true. Staying married to him is the fight of my life. Love transforms. Ours is both a refuge from the storm and the most violent of tempests. Two damaged souls entwined as one. We have bared our deepest, ugliest secrets to one another. Gideon is the mirror that reflects all my flaws ... and all the beauty I couldn't see. He has given me everything. Now, I must prove I can be the rock, the shelter for him that he is for me. Together, we could stand against those who work so viciously to come between us. But our greatest battle may lie within the very vows that give us strength. Committing to love was only the beginning. Fighting for it will either set us free ... or break us apart. Heartbreakingly and seductively poignant, One with You is the breathlessly awaited finale to the Crossfire® saga, the searing love story that has captivated millions of readers worldwide.

I have had this book for forever, because you know when something is ending, and you really do not want it to end? That. I couldnt make myself read it, i didnt want to bid farewell to Gideon, having been one of my major loves - i wasnt ready. However this past week i sat down, spent the day with him and then felt ready to move on.

One with you is the final book in the crossfire series, and whilst i always thought three was enough, this was a brilliant book that was still filled with the drama we had come to expect between the couple, the sizzling sex and yet more demons for the pair to battle through.

It's hard to review a book when its closing a series without spoiling it, so i wont overlly attempt it. It worked well for me, especially as it was a book i wasnt sure would work.  Eva & Gideons relationship has been a whirlwind since the get go, and its hard to remember its only been a short while, but love is love - and wether its 50 years or 50 hours - its wonderful to read about, but like the other reads - its never smooth sailing.

Overall - this was a book that allowed me to reunite with my love, gave me some closure and a few answers, whilst i feel like at any point there is so much that could arise for the couple and if we returned to them it wouldnt be the end of the world. If you have read the others, why on earth wouldnt you read this??
