The Silent Daughter - Kirsty Ferguson || Blog Tour

Secrets can kill and Danni Brooks knows that better than anyone.

When her husband and two of her three children perish in a devastating house fire, Danni is sure it is arson. She’s even more sure that her and her eldest daughter Mia were meant to die in the fire too. But they are just a normal family. Who would want them dead?
Mia doesn’t talk. She can’t. She is locked in her own world where no one, not even her mother can reach her.  Desperate for answers, and convinced the truth might help her to reach her daughter, Danni tries to piece together the events leading up to that murderous night and uncover the arsonist. But with so many lies to untangle, what is the truth?

Prepare to have your breath taken away by an unforgettable twist that will leave you reeling...
I was gifted my copy for the blog tour.
Well this was something else, i thought it would be your traditional who done it type thriller but this went to the next level and beyond. Im struggling to put into words a review for this because my mind is just frazzled.

When Dannis husband and two of her children all die in a house fire she struggles with the fact someone did this and its now just her and her eldest daughter. Yet, Danni seeks answers - who could of done this and as she starts to work out who did it, alot more questions are soon raised.

Told from multiple perspectives and over multiple time lines we start to piece together what actually happened. We meet an array of characters who are all somehow relevant to the story but initially it is not always clear why and what part they play. We dont discover alot till the end but boy is the pay off worth it.

This was heavy and deep, it took a look at some complex emotions and topics and its done in a way that its not until you put the book down you realise what you have been through. I found this twisty, turny and very emotional, i was left drained but you know that feeling when you have just consumed a heck of a good book? Well that too. Its time to see what is real and what is not and you will certainly be shocked by the end.
