Innocent - Erin Kinsley || Blog Tour

The pretty market town of Sterndale is a close-knit community where everyone thinks they know everyone else. But at a lavish summer wedding a local celebrity is discovered slumped in the gardens, the victim of a violent assault that leads to a murder investigation.
As the police search for answers, suspicion and paranoia build - and the lives of the locals are turned upside down. Secrets that lurk beneath the pristine façade of Sterndale come to light as detectives close in on the truth...
A gripping and moving thriller with the emotional drama of series like BROADCHURCH and LIAR this is the perfect read for fans of Cara Hunter, Heidi Perks and Claire Douglas.

For fans of Broadchurch? Count me in, a thriller that really is gripping and packed with emotion with connections that run deeper than they first look where gossip runs rife in a small community.

When an incident at a local wedding ends up leading to a murder investigation of a celebrity, the tables soon turn and the close knit community is questioning everyone.

We then follow the police as they try to figure out who committed this crime. I realised who it was really early on but what i enjoyed most was knowing this and following the twists and turns to actually it been made clear who it is was and why. It was not as straight forward as it seemed and that made it such an enjoyable reading experience. Even though i was sure i knew, i was really enjoying following along as other people were discounted. The characters were well structured and we got to know enough about the key ones to understand what makes them tick.

With fast pacing, i find myself not been able to put this book down and reading huge chunks at any one time, and i read it so quick because i was just so invested. I love been able to feel invested in a book that takes over everything because its all you want to read.
