I was gifted my copy for the blog tour.
I have previously read and loved Jessica Redland so i was excited to return to Whitsborough Bay for another visit and this was a wonderful read. This story was absolutely packed full of emotion, it really was powerful and i felt many a tear try to escape during this read.
Jemma has found the love of her life in Scott and when he proposes she couldn't be happier, she sets about plans in her head but with his busy work schedule he isn't always the easiest to get hold of.
When life throws a massive curveball at Jemma she is left desperately seeking answers and her life is thrown into turmoil further with family struggles.
Sam has his future all planned with his fiancee. he has his career and a lovely home and their wedding is all planned but tradgey strikes him and all that is taken in away in minutes. He flees struggling to deal with the turn his life has taken.
This is a powerfully emotive story that tackles some series deep issues, and as much as i love a light hearted seaside read this is so much more because of the nature of it. Sam and Jemma are wonderfully written and your heart aches for them as they battle their own issues whilst supporting each other. The friendship they share together is open, honest and raw and i loved watching the pair develop together after such tough times.
This was a wonderful read that really packs a punch.
