The Summer House In Santorini Blog Tour

One summer in Greece will change everything…

Anna’s running away. From a failed relationship, a dead-end career and a complicated family life. On the island of Santorini, with its picturesque villas, blue-tiled roofs, and the turquoise waters of the Aegean lapping at the white sand beaches, Anna inherits a less-than-picturesque summer house from her estranged father. As she rebuilds the house, she rebuilds her life, uncovering family secrets along the way that change everything. She starts to fall for her little slice of paradise, as well as for gorgeous, charming Nikos.

Will Anna lose her heart in more ways than one?

Review
I am obsessed with books based in Santorini at the moment, as i am sure you can tell - its one of those places i love to read about and visit in my head, the sights, the people & the food. This book ticked all the boxes for me again. Anna is having the worst time in her life, when her world comes shattering down around her - hope comes in the form of unknown family. Her father passed away, and has left a summer house to Anna and her sister. To accept this, one of them must travel over to accept it.

Anna has plans to do it up, get it on the market and return back to her life. However alot more work is needed than she initiallly thought and as she starts to pour herself into re builiding the house, she starts to learn more about herself, her family and what she wants from the future. Maybe she doesnt have as many ties back home as she initally thought.

This was a wonderful pick me up. I found The Summer House In Santorini had beautiful description, i could visualise the summer house as it transformed before my eyes. I enjoyed watching Anna change and flourish with her wonderful new friends. This would be a great poolside read, it was full of escapism and i as a reader adored it.
