Review
I will miss you tomorrow is the first in a new Norwegian series, we meet Thorkild Aske - recently released from prison, he is no longer a police man after bringing disrespect to the police force. Unsure where he is going in life he receives a call telling him he must go help find a missing man. That man is the cousin of the women he loved who he was charged with killing.
This is a dark read, i wasnt sure what to expect having not read anything like this, i have never read a translated book nor Nordic Noir so i really wasnt sure what i was going to think, i enjoyed it!
I found initially it took me a while to get used to - but once i got settled into the read i enjoyed it, it has great length chapters that make for an enjoyable reading experience. The characters were unique, flawed and some with dark humor. I loved getting to discover this genre, and the story itself gripped me. That was what originally drew me in. I am looking forward to continuing on with this series, this is one to watch!
